We’re incredibly proud to continue the legacy of Mother Rucker, lovingly founded by the amazing Lysanne. Her dedication and expertise have supported countless families, and we’re honoured to carry that torch forward.

Our own babywearing journey began 10 years ago with our eldest and continues today with our youngest. Over the years, we’ve gained not only hands-on, real-life experience but also invaluable knowledge passed down from some of the most incredible babywearing experts.

We’re passionate about helping families find the perfect, comfortable fit — because babywearing isn’t just about practicality, it’s about connection, confidence, and closeness. Whether you’re new to babywearing or looking to fine-tune your skills, we’re here to support and empower you every step of the way.

Consultations

Let’s make your babywearing journey feel calm, supported, and full of confidence. Consultations can take place in the comfort of your home or ours here in Worthing. All sessions are by appointment only, with prices starting from just £30.

During your consultation, you’ll receive:

  • One-to-one time with us — Laurene & Alana — your friendly Babywearing & Carrying specialists

  • A personal fitting with your own sling or carrier, or the chance to explore our lovingly curated sling library of over 100 options

  • A gentle babywearing safety check to keep your little one snug and secure

  • A Healthy Hip Check to support your baby’s natural development

  • Our favourite tips and tricks for comfy carrying through every season

  • Heartfelt chats about infant development and what’s biologically normal

  • The knowledge and care that comes with 9 years of carrying and parenting experience
